[ What we do ]

What we do at Lothal Studio

01

Design + software

We create interfaces, tools and systems where form and function are shaped together.

02

Image + movement

We work with code, sound, image and movement to explore new forms of interaction.

independent research.

Software, image
and movement.

Lothal Lab is where the Studio builds and documents its own ideas. Órbita, Leia and Continuous River emerge where software, image, sound and movement meet.

Continuous
River.

Two studies, three pieces: the first transforms series by Monet and Van Gogh; the second creates marbled ink through a numerical simulation.

We developed both engines in Python and ran them locally. The pieces use correspondences, trajectories, forces and controlled seeds. They use neither cloud generative models nor frame-by-frame editing.
